Yankees complete two-game sweep of Blue Jays
TORONTO — After finishing off a two-game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays, the New York Yankees set their sights on beating the Boston Red Sox for the first time this season.
Johnny Damon hit a solo home run and had three RBIs, Nick Swisher also connected and the Yankees beat the Blue Jays 8-4 on Wednesday night. The AL East-leading Yankees, winless in eight games against second-place Boston, return home to open a four-game series against the Red Sox on Thursday night.
