It was against a struggling club, but it was still a very impressive showing. Even with the nice pitching they are getting, it is nice to add in the long ball. Last season the Yankees won the World Series by having top to bottom the best power hitting line-up in baseball. While it is important to continue to get the good pitching they have gotten, home runs supply instant offense and can put even the best pitchers in a hole.
